Portland Pine Products boasts a rich legacy spanning nearly five decades, dedicated to perfecting the art of crafting exceptional roundwood products. Our journey has positioned us as a leader in timber treatment, serving regions far and wide, including Victoria, South Australia, New South Wales, and Western Australia.

Founded in Heywood, southwest Victoria, in 1976, our roots trace back to a softwood sawmill, before evolving into a sustainable manufacturer of posts and poles using radiata pine logs obtained from plantations under responsible management.

Portland Pine Products is part of the AKD Group, a 100% Australian owned and operated integrated forestry and timber processing company with operations in Victoria, New South Wales and Queensland.

In 2023, we expanded our operations with the establishment of a Distribution Centre in Morwell, Victoria. This significant milestone opened direct access to our premium roundwood products for the Gippsland region.

Our extensive range of meticulously tailored posts and poles are designed to suit a variety of applications. At Portland Pine Products, we take immense pride in not only being a leader in the timber roundwood industry but also in our role as a regional employer. With a dedicated team of over 40 across our Heywood and Morwell sites, PPP understand the importance of being an integral part of the regions we serve.
